Or, perhaps you should think of it in terms of overall device longevity. You *don't* have to send to Droid back to manufacturer if your battery charge starts decreasing after a while. Or if you have any sort of battery problems at all.Swappable batteries are a *good* thing. Don't just tout Apple's way of doing things, please..
God forbid people learn anything from history or literature. Educated folk can be and usually are dangerous to those in power.!

I remember playing the 2600 and having the most insane ideas of how it worked ( I was 8). I remember 2 of them were that there was a lot of video tape in the cartridge that it was somehow just displaying. The other was that the program had about 500 million if/then statements. (since all I knew was quickbasic back then). It might as well have been voodoo magic to me.?

Eve online has some of the slickest graphics going in an MMO. And with the Dominion update Dec. 1st, it's going to look even more amazing.Though it's not a particularly fast-paced game, it is steady and even with a very distant "end-game" which is what an MMO should be.Even with all that, Eve isn't everyone's cup of tea, for sure.

Your not serious! Did you like being stopped for no reason back in the day? If terrorists wanted pictures of anything you can be damn sure no one would know they took them. Prime example is the cops didn't know they were being video taped. Almost everyone has a cell phone with a camera now days. You see anyone confiscating cell phones at the subway? This was a complete waste of time based on the near complete ignorance of these two officers. I am ashamed to have to pay for such incompetence. I want and demand REAL police doing REAL police work, not Barney Fife's screwing with my rights either because they don't know better or worse because they think they are the LAW instead of upholders of it.

Bush did mess up the economy... but wall street crashing just coincided with Bush's watch, not because of it. Hell, most of the deregulation of the mortgage industry that lead to the crash was put into motion during Clinton's watch. Bush did not help the economy, and he did drive us into debt but lets be honest with ourselves here and blame both parties... not just our favorite scapegoat. And how does the President have any control over wall street? He can't sign into law that which never appears before him. Blame Congress, as they are the ones flushing this country down the drain. |
