Because *****-canned employees are always the best place to get a good feel for what the workplace is like, right? That's like expecting a fair evaluation from an ex.
*****! I burned my toast. Damn you Obama!

“There is a difference between taking a picture of a public employee accessing a secure location by keypad which is visible to the public (hypothetical scenario that doesn't exist), and taking a picture of the twin towers when they were still standing. These protocols became much more prevalent after 9/11, but would this protocol avert the horrific event that got it streamlined in the first place? Most governments began acting like parents after something bad happens to someone's kid. Like the parents, the government made a mistake which effected our freedoms, but we are now long overdue with undoing those mistakes. But in places where this is not even protocol, and so it's actually just an abuse of authority, then I say it's time we criminalized the act of an official who questions, harasses, or even makes an arrest based off a nonexistent criminal offense. Am I allowed to decide that 2 minutes, instead of 3 minutes, is enough frying for the fries? No one decides that unless they have malicious intent.

Too bad 60 minutes is corporate now.?
I've said this before. When we don't consider children mentally capable of understanding the repercussions of sex, drinking and gambling, why do we consider them capable of understanding the repercussions of brutality? Children are capable of doing terrible things; but there is a reason we protect and restrict them within society. They're mentally immature. Either we allow them the free reign of adulthood, or we don't. Punishing them as adults, while simultaneously denying them the right to exercise adult rights and experience the world as an adult seems both hypocritical and unfair. |

@LMN8R,There doesn't seem to be a single reputable source that confirms this, looks like a random guess from Gizmodo. The Google blog nor the FAQ from google indicate there is any prompt at all given to the user, so unless they are talking about a simple link included on the startup page, this appears entirely false.I think the main problem for Microsoft is that they just don't get it. Google isn't a charity. They offer free services like this to get you to try and use their products, absolutely. The difference is that Google offers free services because they know that their for profit search business is popular enough that people will use it on their own, and the easier they can make it for people to access google search, the better it is for them.Microsoft instead does things like paying people with various promotions like cash back, prizes for searching and things like this promotion where you must do a search in order to get access. Promotions that offer incentives in exchange for using a search engine are never a solid approach, if they were then iWon.com would have ruled the internet by now. Just offer a solid product. If it's something people want they will use it. Bribing them isn't going to help, except temporarily.

The problem is local villages are doing the damage. There is no national economy to support radical subsidies and yes they have nothing much and are doing away with what is left. The desert will eat them.

*With* the clues it's still pretty brutal. We've done about 125 caches and have 2 hidden ourselves, but the first 10 or so were brutal and almost turned us off geocaching altogether. Definitely start with 1/1 difficulty caches to start with until you get the hang of it.
