Health insurance companies are required to pool all risks so the price for insurance is higher to compensated for high risk users. They are also faced with 50 different state regulations to deal with. Licensing requirements, although do not guarantee quality, restrict who can provide various services. I could go on but it is a complete waste of time. Nobody cares about the cost of health care as long as the "government" is paying for it.

From an evolutionary perspective an expiration date kind of makes sense. Eventually, you're just an evolutionary relic and you're better off making room for you grandchildren. She wouldn't have suddenly deposited 21,000 dollars. If you had read the article, you would've seen that the withdrawals occurred over a four month span of time. Incremental deposits would have gone unnoticed and would have been perfectly normal.What would she have spent 21,000 dollars on, anyway? A new car? Wouldn't that be more suspicious? There's no reason to horde that kind of cash in the first place when you consider that buying something out of the blue with it would be unwise, which makes the defendant's answer sound somewhat reasonable.!
