My statement that wrongful convictions occur is not a straw man argument because it is on topic, I was addressing the grandparents original statement from two different angles. Namely, from a literal standpoint that an accusation can land you in jail and also from the standpoint that what was likely meant in regards to actual convictions. Also, there really isn't any good way of telling the gender of the original poster nor can it really be determined if they meant that statement in a misogynic way. In fact, one could argue that making that assumption could imply that you are a misandrist.Furthermore, the statement isn't line with comment that is blatantly trolling, it is on topic for the article being discussed and while it might be heavily skewed towards someone's option (since they aren't backing it with evidence) it doesn't seem very fair to call the poster a troll when you compare that comment with what has been said in other discussions of this article.
