Cracked has good writers. Michael Swaim and David Wong for example. It has some ***** writers as well, but it's the people who digg and vote bad things up to the front page that is the problem. It isn't cracked's fault. Cracked is getting more mainstream therefore more polluted with idiots who probably use internet explorer.Maxim is corporate *****. Are they really criticizing CRACKED for having sex in a title once in a while? "Maxim" is doing this to cracked? Ok...

I don't have the words for how despicable this is. I know these comments where posted on-line and everyone seems to develop aspergers when they sit down behind a keyboard. But just damn, where the hell are the mods on that site? Or is making anti-Semitic attacks the norm and encouraged on there? Hell even digg would pull those down and ban the posters.?
Trying to rise up against the government because you think they're "wrong" is a pretty sure fire way to get that. Either way I don't see what they could be angry about since they get paid to live in alaska, they probably just have nothing better to do other than smoke weed and play with guns in the wilderness |

New designers don't know this. Especially the ones who learn to code by example - formatting is typically not an example learnt.If I'm worried about bandwidth, I'll keep a condensed version of the code, and a regular version. Trying to dig through non-whitespaced/indented code is a bitch. Really, HTML should never be condensed. It's not wasting THAT much bandwidth.

Duncan/Nyxerebos: I think your points are implied by Plastic's comment. Except, that there's no "offsetting" happening. Drug companies make plenty enough profit with just US sales alone. I mean, did it take $120 million dollars of R&D to produce the Hepatitis B vaccine -- where a lot of the research and knowledge of the company has been taken from sources that are free for the company (I'm getting $120 mil just assuming only 5 million Americans get the Hep B vaccine with the cost of $25 -- but of course there's much more than that)? That, and it's a one-time cost for them.. It's not like they continually have to pay R&D to keep inventing the vaccine. So, I'm sure by now, they already realized their R&D cost and everything else is just cost of materials/tax/shipping/operation, which is a very small proportion of the $25. Consider that these companies have many of these different vaccines/drugs as well. It's a billion-dollar industry for a reason, ya know. Many of these companies realized -profits- of over 30 billion dollars in the past. elliotys: Of course generics will always be cheaper than brand name. That's not the argument. The problem is that even with generics... they are substantially cheaper in some other countries than in America.
