When he makes a bomb...it's really a bomb...but all in all he has an amazing body of work, and he's still young. "Man on the Moon" should have gotten him at least an Oscar nod. And he might have upset people with the "Green Our Vaccines" drive...but he also spoke out to draw attention to Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar. With everything taken into consideration, he's a pretty positive role model.

Did you even read the article? They requested information for one day for a specific investigation, but it seems they didn't follow the appropriate procedure to get the subpoena. Should they have followed regulations? Yes. Should one or more officials be held accountable for it? Yes. Do the current laws give too much scope and power to the DOJ? Perhaps.But should it "scare the crap out of all Americans"? Is it an "all out assault on our freedom"? No, it shouldn't. And no, it's not. Let's lose the drama.
Howdy all.My family lives in Carlsbad. It's not going to swallow the whole town. But that highway is the main artery through town and it could certainly cause a huge mess.That said it's a highly irresponsible practice that is very very common. Dissolving big holes under the earth, creating a briney sludge to push oil out and pretending that will have no consequences may not be the most cunning plan ever. In the end, all the neighbors and the taxpayers will have to deal with it. Companies duck responsibility, dispute that anything is wrong until it goes catastrophically wrong, and then settle out for pennies on the dollar or just claim they go bust.I guess we could always set up some sort of "cover the costs of the inevitable environmental catastrophe by irresponsible resource extraction" insurance for oil companies. Heh.

The bill doesn't address tort reform. It doesn't address prescription costs (and why we pay multiplier times more than other nations). All it does is create a government program with the same problems the existing system has. It's not even 'reform'.?
This is not a joke. It happened to me when I was 4. My life has been a mess ever since.
