This is one the most awesome pics I have ever seen. The shock wave that is formed on the back is called the "lambda shock" and is a characteristic of a transonic flow, i.e that in which Mach # is very close to one (0.8<M<1.1). Also what is nice about this pic the interaction of shock and the water in the sea. Notice how water is completely still in the upstream, before the shock. This is in fact because the water has no "information" that there is a shock downstream and suddenly has to align itself with the flow as it encounters the shock. Truly awesome. Thanks

The pilot episode was a chore to watch. The public's reaction to the V's arrival started out far-fetched (to put it mildly) and when they all applauded it became embarrassing and stayed there for the rest of the episode. The dig at universal health care was pretty blatant, but far from the show's biggest problem (hint: begins with an "act" ends with an "ing"). They tossed in a line about unnecessary wars as a distraction but by then the show's political slant was fully exposed to anyone paying any attention whatsoever, and I consider myself somewhere in the middle.Dear producers, please keep your politics out of my mind-numbing entertainment.
He looks just as cheeky as King Julien.

Hah, Brazilian justices are hilarious. They just love to decide on matters they don't understand at all. Remember the Cicarelli/YouTube fiasco?p.s.: I'm Brazilian.?
I wonder which day is "women's day" at most of these aquariums.

As an admin for a system blocking 3+ million messages a day, I didn't notice a thing. Mail counts have been consistent the last 5 weeks or so with a slight upward trend. Seems like the botnet had long since stopped sending spam and was idle/abandoned/dead/unmonitored by it's owners. In that light, their accomplishment doesn't seem to be so much of one...
Question for someone more tech savvy than me: If it comes to pass that your ISP gets to watch what you do and shut you down if you download illegally, will a VPN be any kind of defense? I'm thinking back to this digg article from a while ago: http://digg.com/d35TjS
